Rediscover Your Wholeness
Transpersonal Counselling supports healing and growth by transforming limiting energetic patterns and beliefs.
Come take the journey from grief to gratitude… from fear to courage
…from doubt, confusion, or despair to confidence, clarity, and abiding trust.
Once upon a time we had extensive rituals and ceremonies within our families and communities that helped us make sense of our lives; to navigate the difficulties, and to grow in response to the difficulties we faced.
It is in the nature of the human condition to experience difficulties at times. We all experience times of grief, doubt and confusion, fear, and despair at some point. For example:
- young adults coming into the world of adult responsibilities, seeking direction
- new parents faced with the immense sacred responsibility of caring for new life
- and anyone wrestling with conscious living in the midst of global social and environmental violence and injustice.
And so, we all need support to navigate through life’s challenges.
Every poignant experience is a chance to grow ever greater, though sometimes we tend to contract ourselves due to habituated ways of attempting self-protection.
Philosophers and psychologists East and West have shared with us well-established practices for finding faith, meaning, purpose, and spiritual connection, even in the midst of loss; finding both self-compassion and great-compassion for all beings on Earth due to the very inevitability of change and impermanence.
Today, transpersonal counselling can help you to transform crisis into communion. Emotional ‘breakdowns’ reveal themselves to be ‘breakthroughs’ to new levels of love & compassion. Spiritual emergencies become the emergence of a whole new spiritual relationship with life.
“To transform the world we must begin with ourselves; and what is important in beginning with ourselves is intention. The Intention must be to understand ourselves and not leave it to others to transform themselves…This is our responsibility yours and mine, because however small may be the world we live in, if we can bring about a radically different point of view in our daily existence, then perhaps we shall affect the world at large.” – Jiddu Krishnamurti The First and Last Freedom
When we examine our lives with a spiritual perspective, our suffering takes on meaning rather than being some ‘unlucky burden’ that has been put upon us by fate alone.
When we engage the healing power of self-empathy and empathic-witness, our suffering becomes a means of connection with the one human family and all beings.
When we enlarge the perspective of our struggle beyond the personal, and even the nearby interpersonal, to include the transpersonal, we begin to appreciate, recognize, and connect to larger forces acting in our lives.
Taking up such a relationship with ourselves and life-itself through counselling brings entirely new possibilities that we can hardly imagine in the midst of our current upset and our habitual responses.
